Auxiliary transports
In the overcrowded camps, there is a structural shortage of almost everything. Therefore, the CRR Foundation sends monthly aid shipments to the refugee camps. Clothing and hygiene products are collected nationwide through a network of collection points and sorted, packaged, and labeled at the CRR warehouse at Nieuw-Lekkerland. This allows them to be distributed immediately upon arrival of the aid shipment. The CRR Foundation works closely with local foundations and organizations in Greece to ensure the correct goods are sent and distributed.
Below you'll find a wealth of information about the collection activities and aid shipments. Would you like to volunteer? Then become a member of CRR does!. CRR does! is the indispensable hands and feet of Christian Refugee Relief. Within this group, we regularly share practical tasks that need to be completed and tackle them under the motto "many hands make light work!" CRR logistics collection center
CRR has a logistics center in Nieuw-Lekkerland. All aid shipments are prepared here.
The preparation consists of:
-Collecting and purchasing goods
- Sorting of delivered goods
– Packaging goods into ready-to-use packages
– Preparing and loading transports
What do we collect?
For more information, please read the relief goods collection guide below:
– Various types of clothing except size xxl!
– Hygiene items: diapers, sanitary pads, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, razors, baby wipes and combs.
– Other items: sleeping bags, hot water bottles, large bath towels, new underwear, new socks, paracetamol and Sudocrem.
We are always looking for donations to purchase targeted items in large quantities. Each aid shipment requires approximately 3,000 of each hygiene item! CRR has purchasing channels that are proactive and involved in the relief effort, allowing us to purchase large quantities at very reasonable prices.

Circular collection!
Not all clothing items are distributed in refugee camps. In close consultation with local partners, a collection guide has been developed, listing the items we collect and then sort and transport to the camps. During this sorting process, items for which we have no designated use are set aside and passed on to partner organizations that use them for aid shipments to Eastern Europe, among other things.
Deliveries:
Would you like to return collected items? You can do so every Saturday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM or at another time by arrangement. Please contact Gertjan at Gertjan@StichtingCRR.nl.
