Fundraising and Communications Manager

The Christian Refugee Relief Foundation (CRR) is looking for a Fundraising and Communications Manager to join its team in the Netherlands. Do you have a knack for spotting opportunities, enjoy building lasting relationships, and have a heart for people in need? Then read on!

About us

CRR offers practical assistance to refugees and those in need by organizing aid shipments, mission trips, and supporting local projects in Greece, Bosnia, and Ukraine. We are a movement of people whose hearts are touched by the need in the world. We want to and can do something about it by rolling up our sleeves together. A selection of what you will do

You develop strategic and executable fundraising and communication plans that fit the current phase of the organization, but you are also active in implementation.

– You look for opportunities to diversify our income, actively using your creativity and marketing skills.

– You optimize the processes and systems within fundraising (Salesforce) and communication.

– Together with the director, you are responsible for preparing funding applications and maintaining our business network.

You'll work closely with your own team, which includes a fundraiser (focusing on private donors) and a communications officer, but you'll also know how to find other colleagues when it comes to in-kind donations.

Who we are looking for

– You preferably have extensive strategic and operational experience with fundraising and marketing and communications within the broader Christian Netherlands;

– You have extensive management experience and are a situational leader;

– You have a hands-on mentality, possess entrepreneurial skills, are creative and think in solutions;

– You are linguistically strong;

– You are good at working with different digital systems;

– You are strongly relationship-oriented and able to build lasting relationships that are relevant to the organization;

– You are good at working systematically and applying the right structures;

– You have a well-developed sense of proportion;

– You have a big heart for people in need and identify with the Christian identity of our organization.

What we offer

– A good salary according to scale 9 of the salary scale of the Collective Labor Agreement for Social Work;

– A good pension scheme and sufficient vacation days in accordance with the Collective Labor Agreement for Social Work;

– 8% holiday pay and 8,3% end-of-year bonus;

– A laptop and telephone (or compensation for private telephone use);

- A contract for an indefinite period
